Ronan O'Loughlin is a Belfast based cinematographer originally from Glenariffe, Co. Antrim. After beginning his career in the camera department on Game of Thrones, Ronan spent seven years working in London across major film and television productions including The Crown, The Batman and Citadel.

Since returning to Belfast he has shot commercials for Nike, JD Sports and Monzo, directed the Belfast Culture Night campaign, and worked across music videos, short films and documentary projects including an ongoing film about turf cutting in Donegal.

Ronan is a BFI and Cannes Young Lions award winner. His short film work has been recognised internationally, with a recent short selected as a semifinalist at the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards.
